Energy Codes 2008 Update
Energy Codes 2008 will take place July 22 - 25, 2008 at the Crowne Plaza St. Paul-Riverfront in St. Paul, Minnesota. The final Agenda, Building Tour, and Sponsors pages have been added to the website. AIA/CES Learning Units (HSW) and ICC Continuing Education Credits toward renewal of an ICC certification will be available at this event.

Centex Corporation Energy Efficiency Suite Announced
Centex Corporation recently announced the Centex Energy Advantage, a suite of energy-efficient features standard in all Centex homes built nationwide by January 2009. A link to the press release was added to the energycodes.gov website.
Energy Efficiency Standards for Manufactured Housing
The Department of Energy is initiating development of the manufactured housing energy efficiency standards. The Department expects to publish a Notice of Proposed Rule in 2009, followed by a period in which public comments can be submitted on the proposed rule.
