The family Pandaceae gathers up 4 genera that are usually distributed in different families. Those are:

• Centroplacus (from tribe Centroplaceae, family Phyllanthaceae)
• Galearia (from tribe Galearieae, subfamily Acalyphoideae, family Euphorbiaceae)
• Microdesmis (from tribe Galearieae, subfamily Acalyphoideae, family Euphorbiaceae)
• Panda (from tribe Galearieae, subfamily Acalyphoideae, family Euphorbiaceae)

These genera contain 28 species, which especially live in West Africa or Southeast Asia.
