Centrolepidaceae is a botanical name for a family of flowering plants. Such a family has rarely been recognized by taxonomists.
The APG II system, of 2003 (unchanged from the APG system, 1998), does recognize such a family, and assigns it to the order Poales in the clade commelinids in the monocots. The family then counts a few dozen species only, found in Australia, southern South America and Southeast Asia.
